Adobe CS4 Design

The Student Edition of Adobe Photoshop CS4 is a full version of Adobe’s premium design software but with a discount of up to 80 percent. The process for purchasing the Student Edition is straightforward as long as you’re a higher-education student.

1. Determine your eligibility. To purchase the Student Edition of Photoshop CS4, you need to be a full- or part-time student at an accredited public or private college or university which grants at least a two-year degree.
2. Step 2

   Go to the Student Editions page of Adobe.com (see References below) to view program selections and prices.

3. Step 3

   Check the Student Licensing page (see the second link under References) from the link on the Student Editions page to determine if you can get an even better discount if your school has enrolled in Adobe’s Student Licensing. Under Student Licensing, the school acts as a bulk buyer and reseller of Adobe programs.

4. Step 4

   Select your programs online at the Adobe Education store or at an authorized education reseller. For schools enrolled in Adobe’s Student Licensing program, program licenses may be available at the school’s bookstore or school website.

5. Step 5

   Provide a valid student ID with photo to prove your qualification. If you do not have a student ID with your name and photo, you need to provide a photo ID such as a driver’s license, and current school transcript, tuition bill, report card, course schedule, nonphoto student ID or official letter from the school registrar.

6. Step 6

   Submit your identification for online orders through Adobe’s Support Portal in a standard format of such as JPG, GIF or PDF, at full size. You can also email your documents, but you must include a proof of academic identification form, available as a download from Adobe.
